Menard Recognised as Finalist for the 2020 Australian Engineering Excellence Awards

We’re honoured to be among those recognised on Engineers Australia‘s 2020 Australian Engineering Excellence Awards for our involvement in the Granville Harbour Wind Farm project.

Our controlled modulus columns technique was implemented to support the 137m high turbines ensuring stability for the structures’ design lifetime.

“A challenging project where the soil conditions changed rapidly from one foundation to next, even if only 250 metres apart,’’ says Business Development Manager David Raftery. “To address this from a design point of view, eight different designs for the 31 different turbines were carried out.”
