How does it work?
CMC are formed by rotary techniques using an auger designed displace the soil laterally during installation.
They have undergone development by Menard Oceania in recent times and represent a significant refinement of the traditional displacement pile, with the outcome that CMC have achieved the optimisation of the rotary displacement technique.
- An economic means of improving the shear strength and moduli of the in-situ soils.
- Provide uniform support to slabs on grade, reducing slab thicknesses and reinforcement quantities.
- Virtually no spoil disposal required, which is particularly beneficial for installation in contaminated soils.
