Menard Oceania, alongside our partners SRK Consulting, has been nominated for the Engineers Australia Excellence Awards Newcastle!
Our nomination recognises the innovative stone columns ground improvement work at the Eraring Tailings Dam-a project critical for ensuring the long-term stability and safety of this vital infrastructure. By using stone columns instead of the more traditional deep soil mixing approach, we were able to decrease CO2 emissions by 84% compared to the original design!
This achievement was only possible through the brilliant teamwork and shared expertise of the Menard and SRK teams. Congratulations to everyone involved on this well-deserved nomination!
