Menard Oceania, alongside our partners SRK Consulting, has been nominated for the Engineers Australia Excellence Awards Newcastle!
Our nomination recognises the innovative stone columns ground improvement work at a Major Tailings Dam-a project critical for ensuring the long-term stability and safety of this vital infrastructure. By using stone columns instead of the more traditional deep soil mixing approach, we were able to decrease CO2 emissions by 84% compared to the original design!
This achievement was only possible through the brilliant teamwork and shared expertise of the Menard and SRK teams. Congratulations to everyone involved on this well-deserved nomination!
