Brisbane Airport new parallel runway

Menard Oceania was involved in the Brisbane Airport New Parallel Runway project to install vertical drains, in order to accelerate the settlement of the dredged sand platform. Menard supplied and installed over 8.2 million linear meters (approx. 8,200 kms) of prefabricated vertical wick drains across 17 different areas covering 65 hectares. This makes of this project the largest wick drain project ever undertaken in Australia.
